Every time we go to Bulgaria, we spend the majority of our time in Devin. My dad grew up there and we have a family home in the mountains. There’s a really interesting transition that happens between the flatland and mountains. There’s a sign on one of the hills leading up to the mountain in the town ‘Krichim’ (Кричим). The sign is like their own little Hollywood sign with the white letters. It’s a combination between hilarious, ridiculous, and wholesome. In Krichim, they say the Hollywood sign is based on their sign. This is the level of delusion I strive to have in my daily life. Bulgarians have jokes man.
